Elk River Printing has a rich history that dates back to 1982 when it was founded by Bill (Wilfred) and Joann Fish of Monticello, Minnesota. Bill had previously worked for the Elk River Star News in printing and newspaper production. The story of how the company came to be is an interesting one. In the fall of 1981, Elmer L. Anderson purchased the Elk River Star News and had to sell off the commercial printing portion of the Star News. He offered Bill Fish the opportunity to purchase the equipment and start his own business or to be the production manager for the Elk River Star News. Bill and Joann made the decision to start their own business, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Our Mission

We give back to non-profits and local charities by offering a 10% discount to those groups we print for. We are also active members of the Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce and the Elk River Rotary Club.

We offer a wide range of printing services, including digital and offset printing, graphic design, logo creation, business cards, banners and posters, brochures, and more. We specialize in rush orders and can start with a blank page, a word document, or a publisher file to create a final product that you can be proud of. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., although we are happy to make exceptions for appointments.
