Zap Copy Center

Zap Copy is a not-for-profit printing service and retail shop that aims to provide quality printing and supplies for students and the local community. As part of the University of Victoria Students' Society, all profits go back to students in the form of advocacy, events, and other services. Our team of current and former UVic undergrads understands the demands of student life, and we are committed to offering a creative, supportive space that celebrates the diversity of our community. Self-Serve

Our self-serve area offers quick and affordable colour or black and white printing, copying, and scanning services. We feature high-quality, 100% recycled, 89 gsm paper in multiple sizes from 8.5" x 11" up to 12" x 18", and we provide free stapling and hole punching. To get started, simply visit one of our Mac or Windows computer workstations, create an account, and follow the instructions. We charge only for pages printed or scanned, and there are no setup fees or hidden charges. You can access your files online or bring a USB flash drive for convenience. Full-Serve

For those seeking a more customized, full-service approach, our professional team is here to help. We offer high-quality digital printing tailored to your project needs, with a variety of media and finishing options. Our quick turnaround times and friendly customer service set us apart. We print business cards, folded brochures, zines, postcards, handbills, greeting cards, and just about anything else you can dream up, provided it's 13"x19" or smaller. We also offer custom mug printing, coil binding and laminating services, and even send faxes. Simply contact us for a quote, place your order, and pick it up later.

Retail

Our retail store boasts a wide selection of office and art supplies for any budget. Grab that last-minute essential on the way to class or shop smarter during the back-to-school rush! We carry budget basics like Bic, Paper Mate, and Hilroy, as well as sleeker options from Pilot, Stabilo, Staedtler, and Lamarche. Our knowledgeable staff can help you choose the perfect stationery options for your needs.

Buttons and Poster Distribution

Pinback buttons are a popular way to express yourself or promote events, causes, or businesses. We offer full-service button making in 1", 1.5", and 2.25" round sizes. We also sell button-making parts and offer free demonstrations! Get in touch to sign out a button maker for up to a day. Want to promote your event? Take advantage of our on-campus postering service, which reaches thousands of UVic students, faculty, and staff. Simply provide your posters or print them yourself, and we'll post them around campus for up to 3 weeks.

Exams and Pricing

If you need some extra study help, we have past exams from real UVic professors available for free! We also provide detailed pricing on all of our services. For self-serve printing, prices range from 9 cents per page for black and white, letter-sized prints to 45 cents per page for colour 12"x18" prints.
