Beidel Printing House, Inc. (BPH) is a reputable printing company that has been serving the Cumberland Valley area since 1920. For over a century, we have been dedicated to providing graphic arts design and printing services that are both timely and cost-effective. Our services include art layout, consultation, and custom design for your specialized requirements, ensuring that we turn your vision into graphic reality.

Our story began in 1917 when George Edgar Beidel established a small print shop on North Earl Street in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. George, who was a barber by trade, decided to venture into the printing business to serve the growing needs of individuals and businesses in the area. His commitment to providing high-quality printing services laid the foundation for what BPH has become today.

In 1923, George suffered a heart attack and passed away, leaving the business to his wife and four daughters. One of his daughters, Emma, took over the operations of the print shop with her husband, Harold Edgar Beidel. Harold, who was a manager at the Trimmer's 5 and 10 Cent stores in Mechanicsburg and Shippensburg, joined the business and became the owner and operator until his death in 1950.

Under Harold's leadership, the business continued to grow and expand. In 1975, the present owners took over operations and continued the legacy of providing high-quality printing and graphic design services. In 1999, BPH acquired an established printing firm in Carlisle, allowing us to serve customers throughout the entire central Pennsylvania area. In 2002, the acquisition of Fortney Packaging, Inc. enabled BPH to expand our established capacities and increase the manufacturing of boxes and food packaging throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Today, BPH operates from a spacious facility on South Fayette Street in Shippensburg, where we offer a wide range of printing and graphic design services. Our services include commercial printing, invitations, brochures, flyers, menus, and much more. We also offer manufacturing and logistics services, including folding cartons, trays, inventory, and warehousing.
