The Good Sport has been a staple in Garden City, Kansas since 1978, having earned a reputation for quality and service in the Southwestern Kansas region. The business was born from the entrepreneurial spirit of Bob and Coleen Rupp, who initially focused on providing t-shirts, team uniforms, and trophies. Over the years, their vision expanded to encompass a wider range of products, including an impressive selection of sports apparel, novelties, and officially licensed team merchandise.

In 1997, recognizing the natural synergy between screen printing and embroidery, The Good Sport incorporated the latter into its service offerings. The passion for quality and customer service that Bob and Coleen instilled in their business was passed on to their son, Brian, and his wife, Julie, who purchased the business and continued its legacy of excellence.
