Our Story
SRO Prints was founded in a small one-room basement studio in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco by Dave Pauli and Brandon Swinehart. The name SRO Prints (single room occupancy or standing room only) was born from this humble beginning. We started as a flat stock printer, printing posters for bands such as Built to Spill, Aim Low Kid, We Were Promised Jet Packs, and The Noise Pop Music Festival in 2010. Although Brandon left San Francisco in the spring of 2010 to pursue personal interests, the idea of giving back to the community and starting a printing company never left his mind. In August of 2013, Brandon and his wife Sara re-established SRO Prints in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our strong desire to give back to an under-served population in Cincinnati has made SRO Prints a reality. Today, we offer screen printed apparel, embroidery, posters, and promotional products.
