At Sheahan Printing Corporation, we are proud to be Rhode Island's largest Union printing company, with a rich history that spans over three generations. Founded in 1923 by Rodolph T. Sheahan, Sr., our company has remained family-owned and operated, with each generation building upon the legacy of quality and commitment to excellence.

Our Story

Our story began when Rodolph T. Sheahan, Sr. purchased a 50% share in Robinson Press in 1931. As the printing industry evolved, we adapted, investing in new technologies and expanding our services to meet the growing needs of our clients. Our sons, Rodolph Jr. and Paul, joined the company in the 1950s, bringing new ideas and skills to the table. In 1974, Rodolph Sr. retired, and Rodolph Jr. and Paul took over, injecting fresh energy into the company. The third generation joined in the 1980s, with David and Kevin contributing their expertise to various departments.

Solar Power Initiative

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we have transitioned to 100% solar power in Spring 2020, reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a cleaner environment.

Face Shields Production

During the pandemic, we transformed part of our manufacturing facility to produce over 40,000 face shields, assisting local hospitals and medical professionals in their fight against COVID-19.
