Dear Friends, I have worked as a representative of various Maine printing companies for over twelve years. I have worked directly with galleries, museums and historical societies to produce full-color exhibit catalogs and brochures. My clients have included The Farnsworth Art Museum and Wyeth Center, Elan Fine Arts, The Caldbeck Gallery, The Center for Maine Contemporary Art, Alan Magee, Jamie Wyeth, Frederick Kellogg, Linden Frederick and The Maine Historical Society, as well as prestigious Manhattan galleries such as Forum Gallery, Alan Stone Gallery, Katherina Rich-Perlow Gallery, Jason McCoy Gallery and Leo Kaplan Gallery.

During this experience, I became acutely aware of the financial restraints that prohibited most small Maine galleries, museums, and historical societies from being able to produce their own exhibit catalogs, color accurate newsletters and mailings and self-published books. Because quantities are typically small, the per-unit cost is often out of range. I founded Custom Museum Publishing LLC in 2005 to specifically address the needs of small galleries, individual artists, museums, self-publishing authors and historical societies.

Along with our revolutionary digital printing technology and a state-of-the-art bindery process, I have assembled a full-service team of experts dedicated to providing affordable and elegant printing, publishing, art website design and bulk mailing services geared to meet the needs of our customers. Services

We offer full graphic design services. It is our mission to listen carefully to our customers' needs and provide creative, custom design as fast and affordably as possible. We can meet most scanning and digital capture needs, including bulk-scanning to pdf, large format scanning for fine art reproduction, engineering and mapping purposes, and professional digital capture of original artwork or memorabilia. These services are suited to anyone interested in reproducing and/or archiving important documents or artwork. We offer full archival services for historical societies that are interested in preserving their historical treasures in a digital format and/or having them prepared for print and web purposes. We also specialize in professional photo restoration.

Art Catalogs are our main product. After years of experience and doing several each month, we simply produce them faster, more affordably and better than any one else. Our goal is to listen carefully to the design needs of our customers to produce simple, clean layouts that feature the art itself. Getting color as close to your original art as technologically possible is what we do best. We offer saddle stitched, soft bound and hard bound catalogs in quantities as low as 50 and as high as 5000. We like to have 2 to 3 weeks to produce the average catalog and produce both a digital and press proof for your final approval.

Cards and Mailing Services While offering the same low pricing as online "card mills, " we offer more thorough services including design, printing, and mailing of your promotional materials. This can include postcards, note cards, and brochures. Our bulk mailing services are designed to save you time and money by handling everything from printing to postage.
