Our History

Printer's Repair Parts was founded in the early 1970s by James E. Hughes, a former district sales manager for ATF Davidson. Mr. Hughes, recognizing the need for a more responsive and customer-focused approach to providing replacement parts, began producing Davidson parts to meet the demand of small press owners unwilling to wait for parts from the original manufacturers. Over the years, the company expanded its product line to include parts for Chief and Multilith, Ryobi, Hamada, and Townsend, among others. Today, Printer's Repair Parts inventory has reached over 100,000 parts, making it one of the largest suppliers of offset printing press parts in the world.
