Our Story

Schiele Group was founded in 1948 by Henry Schiele in a small barber shop. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to high morals and values, Schiele Group has grown into one of the largest printers in the Midwest. Today, we are a multi-plant enterprise producing over a billion pieces of printed material each year, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Charities

At Schiele Group, we are committed to being a good corporate citizen. We work with our employees to aid in causes that impact them directly and the community around us, through donations, employee fundraising with corporate match, discounted services, and donations of goods and services. We support organizations that work on reducing homelessness, poverty, and social injustices, and those that support individuals with physical and mental illnesses.

Milestones

Since our founding in 1948, Schiele Group has experienced significant growth and expansion. In 2016, we expanded into a second Elk Grove facility with 120,000sq ft of print space. Over the years, we have strategically acquired ten industry companies, including Johnson Printers in Downers Grove, IL in 2005 and Chicago Press in December of 2016, known heavily for its Union Printing in Chicago.
