For over 100 years, Winchester Printers has been a leader in the digital and conventional printing industry, providing high-quality printing services to our clients. Our company was founded in 1892 by George F. Norton and Thomas M. Hiltzheimer, who established the company that would eventually become known as Winchester Printers. Over the years, we have undergone several name changes, finally settling on our current name in 1970 under the leadership of the Hottle family.

Capabilities

We offer a wide range of services, including print, mail, and digital printing. Our prepress department is equipped with the latest technology, allowing us to quickly and accurately prepare your job for production. Our sheet-fed presses are designed to provide consistent and accurate color, and our console-driven, highly automated presses ensure efficient production.

Prepress

In our prepress department, we utilize automation workflow to take your job from proof to production quickly and accurately. Our digital proofers are fingerprinted to our presses, and we have all our presses connected to our workflow for consistent and accurate color.

Pressroom

Our pressroom is equipped with a full range of sheet-fed presses, including the Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 6-color perfecting press, the Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 4-color perfecting press, and the Heidelberg Speedmaster 102 4-color perfecting press. We also have Heidelberg Printmaster 46 2-color presses with envelope feeder and in-line perforation and numbering.

Finishing Department

Without our finishing department, your job would never be complete. Our wide range of equipment provides options for folding and binding. We have a 26" x 40" continuous feed 16-page MBO folder with gatefold attachment, two 20" x 28" pile-fed 8-page MBO folders, and other equipment for perforating, collating, gluing, stitching, drilling, creasing, and more.

Mail Service

Our mail service includes CASS Certification, Mail Preparation, InkJetting, Sorting, EDDM services, and fulfillment. We specialize in direct mail marketing and offer a range of services to help our clients effectively reach their targeted audience.

Digital Printing

Our digital offering is not just "color copies." With our extensive knowledge and experience, we can fulfill simple short-run static printing up to complicated variable data projects. Our software allows us to not only utilize variable data but also variable imagery.

Signage

Our 4-color plus light cyan and light magenta, hybrid UV machine can print on almost any rigid or flexible material up to 2.5" thick. Pair this technology with a skilled prepress department, and you have an unbeatable signage solution.

Proofing Options

We offer a range of proofing options, including soft low-resolution or high-resolution PDFs, Epson Proof, and Heidelberg CP/EP/CM Digital Proof.

At Winchester Printers, we are committed to sustainability. The paper industry plants three times more trees than it cuts. Many people believe that the print industry is not eco-friendly. However, the industry invests in renewable energy sources and creates environmentally friendly supplies.
